My name is Saba Alkhedhairi. I was born in Baghdad in 1981 and today I’m married and a proud mother of two daughters. Having lived in more than five countries over the past 22 years, I’ve grown into a truly multicultural woman. Each place I’ve called home has shaped my worldview and taught me resilience, openness, and the importance of understanding how culture influences the way we think, communicate, and connect. I learned cultural adaptation the hard way and now I help others navigate it with far more clarity and ease.
For 18 years, I worked as a Project Engineer in international companies. While I loved the complexity of the work, I became increasingly interested in the dynamics between people from different cultural backgrounds and the often “unspoken” challenges they face when working together.
Since 2016, volunteered as a translator for SOS Children’s Village, VHS, adult education programs, and the local police. These experiences strengthened my belief in the power of empathy, communication, and cultural understanding.
At the end of 2023, I felt it was time for a new chapter. I chose to fully dedicate myself to coaching, a field where I can bring together my professional experience, multicultural background, and passion for supporting people through cultural transitions and personal growth.
Why the lemon?
I use the lemon part in my logo because it was inspired by my life Moto when life gives you a lemon…
As a middle eastern women born in Iraq with a Bc.Sc. in chemical engineering working in man’s field, delivering projects in many Arabic countries as well as in Europe, living through three wars with embargo, starting from scratch many times in different continent and searching for a place to call Home, life threw me so many lemons at me, teaching me how to make my own lemonade from my experiences in the process. It gave me a new perspective in life to see the positive in the negative, to push through it, to fight for it, to become what I am today, an intercultural coach with an engineering and project management background, a war survivor, and a mother.
